British and American intelligence agencies are investigating the fallout from a major espionage scandal in Germany involving former head of the BND, August Hanning, and senior official Manfred D., according to The Telegraph.
According to German sources, some of the materials came from foreign intelligence partners, raising concerns that British and American intelligence, including agents and informants, may have been compromised.
MI6, GCHQ, and several US agencies are reviewing classified information shared with European allies, focusing on protecting potentially compromised sources.
